Question

Creative Cloud Pro contains 25 apps plus cloud services I believe. I use 5 of those:

Photoshop

Bridge

Camera Raw

Acrobat Pro

InDesign

plus Adobe fonts.

On very rare occasions I have used audition or premier, but I can definitely live without those.

I do not use Adobe Cloud storage. I pay for another 20 plus apps that I never use. Neither do I need updates every three weeks that rearrange buttons into menus and change the interface which rarely is an improvement. If I were to get the apps I use independently I would pay even more. To be frank it’s pretty awful, there must be a better way to tailor costs depending on usage. The costs are especially challenging for small businesses or independent artists.

I would like to raise this and perhaps Adobe can come up with a better system

I can’t speak directly for Adobe — those decisions are made higher than my pay grade, and since I’m a volunteer here and get paid nothing, it’s far above my pay grade — But the Creative Cloud subscription is Adobe’s discount application plan. There are discounts for that if you’re working in education or with a certified nonprofit organization. But other than that, as you’ve discovered, there’s limited cheaper options.

This is a user to user forum for folks who have technical problems with Acrobat, specifically. You may have better luck filing a bug or feature request here. It’s fair play to say the feature you’d like is a better pricing plan.
