Sudden Activation error message - licence invalid?

I have suddenly started to get a pop-up that my serial number is being used on a maximum number of PC's. When I try to add my serial number (fromt he physical packaging of the disc) it says it is invalid.

Why has this suddenly started? How do I remove any other PC's?

It is Adobe Acrobat XI Standard. I have the physical disc purchased with a ScanSnap machine.

What's the exact issue, then? Is it that you've activated the product too many times, or that the serial number is invalid?

The first window says "maximum number of computers allowed", but when i try to add the seriel number again it says "invalid". I havent changed PC's in over 2 years.

Did you purchase it from Adobe, or a reputable reseller? Did you ever register it with Adobe under your account?

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to use your serial number and getting the message saying invalid.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat you are using? Also, please check the help page - https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/invalid-revoked-serial-numbers.html and see if that works for you.
