Swap (.exe) Windows extension for an Apple compatible download?

I initially purchased for an employee Adobe Acrobat for a Windows desktop. However, they no longer use the Windows desktop but an Apple laptop.  Is there a way to get my purchased/download to be compatible with Apple rather than windows (a non.exe file?)
