Taskbar Management - Closed Files Won't Go Away

Using Acrobat version 2025.001.20756 on Windows 11 23H2

When I open multiple files and close one, all of the items are still stuck on my taskbar showing as open. Ie, I can't remove any of the items from my task bar unless I close every file and the whole application and start over.

If I have my taskbar mirrored across multiple displays, this problem goes away.  But in an ideal world, I want to keep my taksbars separate for each screen.

Any ideas?  My office tech support has tried to re-install multiple times.
