Text Field font issues

I used Acrobat Pro 11 to create a text field in a pdf file.  I set the attributes of the text field to Times New Roman from the font dropdown menu.  All of the fonts installed on my computer are displayed - even the ones I purchased.  I set the font size to 18 pt and in a blue color.  When I print the pdf it prints the correct size and color of text but the specified font won’t. I’ve tried 6 different fonts.  Any thoughts on what could be wrong.

Hello Carriek,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused, as per the description above, the Fonts in the text field the fonts are not printing correct size, Is that correct?

Please check for any pending updates of Acrobat Pro 11 from help>check for updates, restart the machine after installing the updates and see if this brings any difference.

You can also repair the Acrobat from help>repair installation (for Windows only), restart the machine after the repair.

You can also refer and try the suggestions from the following Adobe discussions Fonts do not display or print correctly after you convert or combine documents in Acrobat

Printing problem when PDF is sent to the printer with certain fonts - missing text

Text displays or prints incorrectly after converting or combining Acrobat 9 documents

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.
