Text Field starting with font size of 9pts but can auto resize

HI,

I would like a start Text Field with a font size of 9pts but can still auto resize once the characters start to reach the end of the field.

I have also been searching tirelessly for this answer. Anybody, anywhere got a solution?

(I'm using Acrobat Pro DC)

The only way I'm aware of doing this is to set the font size to Auto, enter a few characters in the field and adjust the height of the field so the resulting font size is close enough to what you want for the initial font size. This obviously can't work for multiline fields, which default to an initial size of 12 when Auto is selected.
