Text field vanishes so unable to cut and paste....

Hi you all,

I have provided my client with a form to provide me with a bunch of info that I can then cut and paste into my working design.

Some of the fields are playing up - and I am not able to cut and paste - the text just vanishes! So weird as has only just started happening. I would understand more if all the fields were the same, but it varies.

Work aroud is taking a screenshot and copying from preview (Im working on a MAC) which is a bit clunky considering I have a whole bunch of these documents to do.

I cant attache the file in question, but if anyone has time to download from here and have a look I'd be very grateful...

any ideas?

Walk title - this is fine

Sub title - this and the following few text fields is playing up.....

Ahhhhhh!!!!

Kind regards, Mary

Such a stange form.

It contains dozens of empty Pencil comments, and it looks like there is no data in most of the fields.

I tried to export data in a FDF file, only a few field (Walk title) are exported.

I guess it was filed using Apple Preview, or a worst "PDF reader".

I checked, Google's automatic translator works well on these articles.

"I think moving forward im going to have to specify to clients to use only Acrobat Reader to fill in forms maybe?"

See these great killer tips (Google Translate is your friend):

Oh interesting, thanks.... I think I will be busy with the translate - either that or I dust off my old French school books!!

Thanks for taking a look JR - its so weird isnt it?!?

I have tried everything - best workaround I now have is to export out as a word document - at least that way I can grab the text in a few less steps!

I think moving forward im going to have to specify to clients to use only Acrobat Reader to fill in forms maybe?

Thanks again, Mary
