Thai characters are not getting exported through export data

Hi, when i am trying to export the form data into text through export data, Thai Characters are not getting exported, instead of thai characters i am getting dots

Those dots are displayed because the Thai characters are Unicode, and you are viewing the data in an application that does not support Unicode.  

So what format is the exported data file?

I have the same problem viewing export file in MS word.
