The following message popped up on my Win 7 PC.  I don't have Acrobat DC, I have Acrobat Standard 11.0.20.  Why am I getting this message and how do I fix it?

"The Acrobat DC PDF browser plug-in is missing.

Please reinstall Acrobat DC or Acrobat Reader DC to fix this problem."

Thanks

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond.  Family emergency and then I was in the hospital.

Anyway, the message stopped appearing all on it's own.  I did nothing.  I have no idea what started it or stopped it, but all is good now.

Thanks for the suggestions!

It's IE 11 and the plugins look normal.

As I posted, I have Acrobat 11 Standard, NOT Acrobat DC.  Confusing.

Is there something you haven't mentioned? Such as, trying out the free trial of Acrobat DC? Trying Reader DC and going back? The possibility someone with access to your computer did those things?
