    Hi,

The alt-text tooltip on hover usually comes from the “title” attribute rather than the alt attribute itself. If you want to disable the hover text, you can try removing the title attribute from the image or SVG.

For Illustrator-exported assets, sometimes extra attributes get added during export, so it’s worth checking the SVG code and cleaning it up if needed.

We ran into a similar issue with exported icons showing unexpected behavior on hover and noted it here:

    Hope this helps!

Thank you, it is for the PDF and not for the web page.

    You should read this answer:

If you don’t need the accessibility at all, optimize the PDF (Save as Other...)

Turn off every option except Discard Objects>Discard document tags.

Accessibility in the PDF is mandatory requirement.

Then, as far as I can tell, there is no way to disable it until Adobe issues an update.

I am not aware of a way to disable this. You can of course remove the alt-text (or mark the image as decorative), but that will destroy the accessibility of your document. Try to convince your customer that it is a good thing to have the alt-text there ;)

Thank you! Let me inform the customer if there is no option to disable it.
