The option for batch stamping has disappeared....

by the looks of things?

If I am trying to stamp or sign multiple pages at once, do I need to create a field, or just a position on the document for said stamp to go on? I know that you can't produce a signature field which gets filled in across multiple pages just by creating duplicates of this field (annoyingly!).

Thank you

Here's a (paid for) multi-page stamping tool I developed:

Thank you - would this work on any document, or does the user have to have the software on their computer? i.e. if I am the creator and employ this tool, can anyone filling in the document deploy it?

Only the user with the licensed software installed can deploy it.  You select a stamp, then activate the tool from the menu or the toolbar.  However, I can build you a custom stamp that copies itself to other pages.  All users would need the stamp installed to use it.  Send me a private message if you are interested.

You can duplicate a (non-signature) field by right-click it (in Prepare Form) mode and select "Duplicate Across Pages".

There's no similar command for comments (such as stamps), but it can be done using a script, like this (paid-for) one I've developed: http://try67.blogspot.com/2009/07/acrobat-duplicate-annotations-to.html

Thank you. I will try a demo version of your script, and send it to my boss to see what he thinks.
