Question

There is a big error within Adobe Acrobat on my MacMini Pro M2

Many times randomly when I want to crop a page using the edit function, the App does insert a black overlay box. This is very annoying because I have to do a big file with many pages, and to get rid of it I have to reverse the crop, save the file and only after that I can crop without getting this error. I lost 1 complete day of working until I found this workaround, but this is not a long term solution - it needs to be FIXED from Adobe.

Also the App crashes during this Error, and I am NOT happy with this situation at all.

Please see the attached screenshots

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20759 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also, go through the help page https://adobe.ly/3VaYwEG and see if that works.

Hi Amal.

This happens on all PDF's and all are locally stored. I run the latest Adobe Pro 2024 and there are NO updates available. Also my OS is the latest from Apple, and I run it on a new MacMini M2 Pro with 32 gb of memory.
