There was a RAISE without a handler error in Acrobat DC

I have a new Macbook Pro. Just installed Adobe creative cloud and I am trying to combine multiple files into a single PDF.

But after combining the files, just before finishing, I get an error message that says:

"There was a RAISE without a handler. The application will now exit."

Anyone know what the cause of this is and how to fix it? Much appreciated!
