Hi,

Seconds after I open Acrobate Pro DC, the below message appears:

There was a RAISE without a handler. The application will now exit.

As soon as I click on OK it quits.

I've read this has been an issue in the past (although it's a first for me), but I thought it had been fixed in the latest update so not sure why it's happing now.

I've done a full uninstalled and reinstall but same issue.

I'm running Adobe Acrobate DC Version: 2020.006.20034 on macOS Catalina Version 10.15.3

Anyone know how I can sort this?

Hi there,

We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are getting the error message 'There was a RAISE without a handler. The application will now exit.'

Please try the following steps and see if that helps:

  • Remove the application using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool -
  • Reboot the Computer
  • Reinstall the application using the link -

If it still doesn't work, please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account for Mac (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204012) and try using the application there and check.

Let us know how it goes

Regards

Amal

Seems like you've applied the latest update.

Did you use to get this message before this update?
