Thumbnails in Organize Pages View

Just recently two PCs no longer fully load page thumbnails when in Organize Pages. Typically, this view would be used to quickly correct page orientation. If I double click an image in Organize Pages, the image loads successfully. If I scroll through the images, they load quickly with no lag.

Any ideas why the thumbnails won't load in Organize Pages?

The file is about 300MB and I give it a few minutes to 'fully load' despite it immediately opening.

I checked for common issues and reinstalled Acrobat on both workstations.

Additionally:

If I open a smaller sized file, the same issue occurs even where the document contains only two pages.
