ToC Hyperlinks go to wrong page

When converting from Word to PDF, either using the Acrobat tab in the ribbon or directly from Acrobat, the ToC hyperlinks go to the wrong page. (This does not happen when export as a PDF from Word using Word's built in function). Basically the links go to the next section rather than the page of the section they are supposed to go to.

I can manually edit them to the correct page but this is a lot of work. Is there are way to avoid this?

Using Word for Mac Version 16.91, Acrobat Pro continuous release for Mac

Hi @CB_5 ,

Thank you for reporting the issue. Can you please try create PDF without using service conversion.

Is issue happening with both cases, with and without service conversion.

To create PDF without using this service:

  1. Open file in MS word
  2. Go to Acrobat ribbon and click on Create PDF.
  3. Click No to create a PDF without using service conversion.

If I use either the Adobe Create PDF Cloud Service via the Acrobat ribbon in Word, i.e., this:

Or Word's best for electronic distribution (uses Microsoft online service), i.e., this:

Then the links go to the correct pages, but the typeface is changed from what we specified.

Also the Abode online service is slow to process the files.
