Question

Too many Adobe processes?

Loaded a free trial of Adobe Pro.  When I look at File Manager I see: 4 copies of Adobe Collaboration Synchronizer 21.1 (32 bit); 2 copies of Adobe CEF Helper; and only 1 copy of any of the other Adobe or Adobe Acrobat things.  Is this normal or did I click something too many times?  And if this is a problem what suggestions do you have?

All I want is Adobe Acrobat to scan and edit docs.  For that I'm spending $15 per month on their SAAS and using up a bunch of my memory!  Is there not a way for me to have a simple installed instance of Adobe Acrobat, without the Adobe CEF helper and the Creative Cloud desktop application (CCDA)?

It is normal to see many processes, sometimes up to nine altogether.

Is not a problem, but if you observe a significant system performance degradation only when Acrobat is launched, then it may be worth examining each process.
