Question

toolbar cannot be deactivated and is not functional

It's not really clear why unnecessary changes were made to the Adobe Acrobat toolbar that was perfectly functional... before!

The most serious thing, however, is that now the sidebar of the tools does not remember the deactivation, that is, if I close it it will reopen when the document is opened. All this is true even if "remember toolbar" is flagged in the settings, which worked in the previous version. It's not really possible to deactivate or hide it! Why is this not possible?

This new transformation that doesn't even work is horrendous and above all useless!

Hi @Associazione329772950ywo

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change; however, we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you can be more productive and get more out of Acrobat.

This issue is reported to our engineering team and being worked on. The fix will be available in the upcoming future release.

If your critical workflows are impacted, you can switch to the old UI from the “Menu” on the top left corner of Windows and View Menu on MacOS. For more info about the new Acrobat, please go through the help page https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/learn-about-new-acrobat/td-p/14078856

Regards

Amal
