Hi @AnderidaCare

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

As mentioned ''I have a document that needs to be tracked, logged, and edited for 99 years" Would you mind elaborating a bit more about the workflow you are doing to share the documents?

Are you sending them for signatures and want to track them? If yes, please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/how-to/manage-and-track-documents.html

If you are sending them for review among other users, please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/tracking-pdf-reviews.html

Let us know if you are referring to something else.

Regards

Amal

Hi Amal, Thank you for reaching out..

The document is a safeguarding log that needs to be edited daily. This is edited by different members of the staff on different occasions. Currently, they do this in a book and the book is kept for 99 years. however, I am trying to turn it digital.

I have a template form that needs to be edited. soon as the form has been edited with the information for that instance. that text on the form needs to be locked, and logged and the form needs to still remain edible for the next log to be added. If that makes sense.

I have tested E3 licensing with workflows but  SharePoint is required and the directors do not want to use sharepoint. I thought adobe would be the next option?

Repeated editing of a PDF file will eventually break it, this is certain. PDF is absolutely unsuitable for editing 35,000 times.
