Tracking distributed forms

Hello,

 

I have created and distributed a form to different people at different times.

1) How do I track the distribution date of the form for recipients added after the inital distribution?

2) Is it possible to add an auto reminder to people who have not responded on a pre-determined time frame?  Say, I'd like to get a response within 30 days.

  • can Acrobat send a reminder a week before due if people have not yet responded?
  • can Acrobat send a follow-up message if a response is not received after 30 days?

If yes, how?

What you are looking for, is achievable but it also depends on who did you create and distribute the form. 

If you look into the detailed description given on how to create and distribute a form https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/creating-distributing-pdf-forms.html#distribute_send_forms_to_recipients you'll find two ways-

1- Creating a pdf form using Acrobat's "Prepare form" tool and distribute it.

2- Create a form using "Prepare form" tool and then convert it to Adobe Sign form and then send it.

 

Setting a reminder and time limit is only possible with the Adobe Sign forms. Where, from "Manage" tab you can set a reminder for your distributed form and also check the distribution date.

How exactly it works, for that you may first go through-

1- Create form for Adobe Sign https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/creating-distributing-pdf-forms.html#Sign_forms

then distribute Adobe Sign form https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/creating-distributing-pdf-forms.html#distribute_send_forms_to_recipients

2- Once sent, then "Track Agreements "  https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/send-for-signature.html#Track_agreements
