I am wondering does ADOBE place the Transaction ID on the Documents being signed and if so HOW?? As I see the Transaction Log, but the physical documents DO NOT?

    Hi @Birdseye Financial

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.

By default, the Transaction ID lives in the transaction log and audit trail, not stamped on the actual document pages. So what you're seeing (the ID showing in the log but not on the signed document itself) is expected default behavior, not a bug.

That said, Adobe Acrobat Sign does have a specific feature that puts the transaction ID and document name directly on each page of the agreement; it's just not on by default. It's called the Transaction Footer, and it needs to be turned on by an account or group admin:

    • Log in as an administrator

    • Go to Account Settings > Global Settings > Transaction Footer

    • Enable the setting

Once enabled, all newly created agreements going forward will show the document name and transaction ID on every page. A couple of things worth knowing: it only applies to agreements created after you turn it on, not retroactively to ones already sent or completed, and it's only available on Acrobat Sign Solutions license plans, so it may not show up as an option depending on your specific plan. Full details here: Add the transaction ID and document name to each page of the agreement

     Hope this information will help

Thank Amal, I found out that with “Individual” accounts that OPTION is NOT available, only Corporate. But I appreciate your input and advice.
