Question

Tried to sign up for free trial, took my money anyway and now I can't unsubscribe.

Earlier today, I tried to install the free trial of Adobe Acrobat so that I could quickly edit a pdf I was having trouble with. I went to get the free trial and it asked me for my payment information, as a lot of things tend to for free trials, but underneath the payment window is said "First 7 days free" so I wasn't worried. I entered in all my information, clicked confirm, and instead of giving me a free trial, it actually took my money, and apparently its going to renew this subscription in a month.

I didn't want to pay 30$ for this, I needed to edit a single file to adjust it's page numbers, and now it's not letting me cancel and get my money back, any time I go to manage my plan, it just takes me to a white page that doesn't load anything.

I've waited a very long time for it to load, and I have fairly powerful internet, and am not having problems with anything else, so I dont think it's a problem on my end. I just want this subscription cancelled and my money back, does anyone know how to deal with this problem?

Hi @Serial_Killer5595,

Thank you for reaching out.

Upon reviewing your account, we were unable to locate any completed transactions. If you’ve noticed a charge on your card, please be advised that this may be an authorization hold rather than an actual debit. Authorization holds are temporary and are used to verify your payment method—they may appear on your statement for up to 7 days.

Since you have already cancelled the subscription, the hold will be automatically released, and no payment will be processed.

Please let us know if you have any further questions. We're happy to help.

Regards,
^AN

To get the free trial, you just download it and use it. No need to pay. Instead of the free trial you acrually subscribed. You have 7 days to cancel for a refund. You must talk to Adobe Customer Service (using phone or chat). Don't delay!
