Hello-

Purchased the trial Adobe option.  Attempted to edit a  PDF document and it wont allow me to erase current wording and add new. Please advise.

Impossible to know without any details about the PDF. PDFs are generally simply not meant for editing and whatever text you are trying to edit could in fact nbot be text, but rather separate vector objects or a rasterized pixel image. All a PDF is supposed to do is retain the appearance of a document and how that is achieved is ultimately up to the program that created the file in the first place.
