I need to fillin data on a PDF that has a box that can be expanded by grabing the corner and puling down. I have some fillin boxes that have the arrows for predetermined choices but have no cursor that will operate the arrows. I am new to Acrobat and can not find the right part to do these easy actions. Help please.

- Not possible with a regular PDF file. You can set the field to scroll to allow more input, but then when you print it not the full text will be shown.

- Use a drop-down field instead of a list-box.

Thanks for the reply.

I have to answer a questionnaire that has many fields.because some answers requirement words to answer the square has the corner to be able to drag and enlarge, I have to pointer to use. There are fields that have a drop down to show choice answers, again can not use as there is no pointer.
That is my problem.

thanks

Hi Hans231786700npo ,

Thank you for reaching out.

As we understand, you have received a PDF form on which you do not find the pointers to drag the form fields. Could you please confirm if you are using the "Prepare form" tool to make the changes to the form?

If you are opening a PDF form and trying to move the form fields, it does not work that way. To make changes to the form fields, you can use the "Prepare a form".

Please refer to the information in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/4pMilR0

If that does not help, it may be due to how the PDF form was created. If you could share the form with us, we can review it.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
