Trouble opening Acrobat application on MacBook

Is anyone else having the Acrobat error (reference code 205) when they open the application where it will immediately close and not allow you to view anything in the application? I've been having this problem for months and have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but the problem still persists... 😞
