Trouble printing on tabloid size paper

I have a pdf document that I assume is on arch d (24x36) page setup and trying to print it on tabloid (11x17). I'm using hp t520 and when I change the page setup to tabloid and print the printer says (see attached photo). Don't matter what settings I change I always get that error and if I select print anyway it doesn't utilise the entire paper or it cuts it off. What do I have to do?
