Trouble using mouse to make signature

I downloaded Adobe Acrobat DC in order to sign some documents.  But, when I tried to sign by hitting the fill and sign button, it prompted me to type my name and then it converted this into a generic cursive signature.  If I want to sign my own signature with the mouse pad, what version of Acrobat do I need, or how do I do this?

Try clicking Draw and using the mouse pad, draw the signature.
