Troubleshooting AI Assistant - Web Browser vs. Desktop App
Hello,
I have just subscribed to the AI Assistant add-on. However, applying the AI Assistant in the Desktop App version of Adobe Acrobat Pro does not work for all documents. I keep getting an error, around the point it is generating questions saying "Something went wrong. Please try again." There does not seem to be a particular or obvious reason for this error. I have reinstalled the app, I have signed in and signed out, and I cannot work out what the difference is between the documents where AI Assistant works and where it doesn't.
To add to the confusion, if I open the web browser version of Acrobat Pro and open the exact same documents (where I receive the error in the Desktop App), the AI Assistant works fine.
I have googled through the forum and internet, but cannot find anything that identifies why AI Assistant works on some documents only in the Acrobat Pro web browser. Are you able to please provide any advice? I have made sure that my documents (seemingly) meet all the requirements listed on the website for making them compatible for AI Assistant.
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
I am running Windows 11. The documents were generated from word using Acrobat PDFMaker 24 for Word. I downloaded the Acrobat Pro app through Creative Cloud. It is Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) 24.002.20759.
