troubleshooting compare files

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and use the Compare Images tool.  Whenever there is more than one page, the screen flickers and never loads the seconds page. I also use the link to lick here to see differences, and again the page never loads to see what the differences are. Can someone please help me with this? The files I am comparing are typically <500KB so the file size is not large. I am only having trouble comparing multipage documents.
