Trying to insert a blank page into a multi-page pdf document.

If you're using the desktop version of Acrobat Pro, try right-clicking the page thumbnail where you want the blank page, then choose Insert Pages > Blank Page. You can also go to All tools > Organize pages > Insert > Blank page.

If you only see Insert Pages and there is no Blank Page option, make sure you're using the desktop Acrobat app and not Acrobat on the web, since the web version has different options.

1. Which platform are you using: A) Windows or B) macOS?

2. What exact Acrobat Pro version/build is installed? You can find it under Help > About Adobe Acrobat on Windows or Acrobat > About Adobe Acrobat on macOS.

1. In the Acrobat Pro desktop application, open the PDF and select All tools > Organize pages.

2. In the left pane, select Insert > Blank page.

3. In the Insert Pages dialogue, choose whether to place it before or after the required page, then select OK.

4. Alternatively, right-click the relevant page thumbnail and select Insert Pages > Blank Page. Simply selecting/checking the thumbnail opens its contextual controls; you need to right-click it for the documented blank-page command.

If you are working at Acrobat on the web, Insert pages adds pages from another file, while Design a new page is a separate option. For the documented Blank page command above, open the PDF in the Acrobat Pro desktop application. Check this article for more details: https://adobe.ly/4r0N1PQ

Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 26.001.21677, Planned update, Jun 17, 2026. Check for any pending updates by navigating to Menu > Help> Check for Updates. Install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.
