Trying to share a pdf portfolio

Hi there -

I am trying to share a pdf portfolio for someone to fill in...all it is sending is a prompt to download acrobat reader.  Even after going through the download process...still no file, just the one page prompt.  I have to send this to several people, my concern is that they will not mess with the download process.  There has to be a way to make the portfolio accessible to them.
