Question

Typing in textbox incorrectly bottom aligned?

I have a VERY old version of Acrobat, 7.0.1, which continues to work just fine for creating simple fillable forms, but I'm now on Windows 10, and wondering if a problem I'm seeing is related to that, or just something I'm missing. I really don't recall this before tho.

The text I enter into textboxes on a new form recently appears to be bottom aligned, at least to some extent, but I don't see an option to even do that. All fields are set to auto, but if I set the font size to say, 14, it enters the value OK, but I can only see the top bit of the value in the field unless I make the box super large. Leaving it at auto helps, but sometimes I want larger text, just not half of it A multi-line textbox value, for example, wraps and shrinks nicely as needed, but leaves an entire empty line at the very top--the cursor actually starts at the vertical midpoint of the approximately 4-line field and never fills above it, no matter how much text is entered.

Similarly, a button with one word on it also is not centered vertically, and I KNOW that was OK before, I have examples.

I don't remember having these issues in the past with Windows 7, and I really don't think Windows 10 is the reason, but I don't see anything else that has changed. Is there anything I can do to change this behavior? Upgrading is not an option, this one is paid for, and otherwise works fine

TIA
