Unable to add E-Signature to any PDFs.

Hello team, we are trying to add E-Signature to PDF files but for some reason the plus options never showed up. It always has a spinning circle and never works out. We have a workaround below from someone but it never works on one of the laptops. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Workaround:

deleted those three files from this location C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security and remove these three files.

1) acrobat_fss_signature_initials

2) acrobat_fss_signature_initialsi

3) acrobat_fss_signature_initialsk

Then uncheck Save signature box when you add signature.

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble caused.

 

As you have already tried removing the signatures from the security folder, please try reinstalling the application using the steps suggested below:

-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/466QbZo).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://adobe.ly/4msJ6YV.

 

If the issue still occurs, please try collecting the log using the diagnostic tool and share the log ID here. Please also share the Acrobat and OS version on the machine. We will get this checked.

Thank you for your response! I will give it a shot and keep it posted. FYI - Our Acrobat DC is installed from Creative Cloud.
