Unable to change scale on measuring tool

Question

Typically, when scaling an PDF, I can adjust the measuring tool to metric and scale as require. Now when I open a PDF it does not give me an option and it is using the default scale. Anyone else had this problem?

I'm feeling your pain Abby, using a mac and usually i just right click to bring the measuring submenu and select change scale. Now I just get the normal submenu; something I can get the measuring submenu by creating a meausrement and then right clicking but it doesn;t always work. Something is def broken in the latest update.
