Unable to convert Excel files to PDF

Hey I know this may be 2 years too late but after 2 days of tedious installs/updates/uninstalls ect I found a resolution for myself. 

This was tested in an environment running Windows 10 with Adobe Pro X version's 11.0.0, 11.0.7, 11.0.23. The solution worked for all of the machines. 

Visual Runtime C++ 2010 (x64) was the final missing piece. It was conflicting with Visual Runtime C++ 2005 (x64) on the 11.0.23 version. I couldn't tell you why to the best of my knowledge they should not conflict but until I removed the 2005 version it continued to fail with that same error. It may be isolated to the machine but I am not going to test further at this time. 

For full resolution: I uninstalled all versions of Microsoft Runtime C++ currently installed on the machines 2005, 2008, 2012, 2-15-2019 completed a reboot and then re-instaled each version as well as 2010. It is crucial that 2010(x64) is installed as the print driver will have to use the 64bit. This worked on each environment except for the 11.0.23. Once i uninstalled 2005(x64) and rebooted again on the 11.0.23 machine it began working and I was able to convert through both Excel as well as through Adobe Acrobat XI. Keep in mind that I was using only the COM add-in inside of Excel. 

Hope this helps anyone else who runs into this 🙂

Speaking only for myself, I have only seen that issue in the past when I have worked on systems that did not have current versions of both Office and Acrobat. Possibly your very old Acrobat XI from 2012 cannot be seen by the PDFMaker in the current Office 365.
