Question

Unable to convert Microsoft Office files to pdf

I just got a new computer and have installed my old adobe acrobat DC standard on the new PC. It will no longer convert Word and Excel files to pdf. I can see that under the adobe preferences, Microsoft products are not listed. What happened and how do I get those back into the "convert to pdf" list? All of our adobe products were purchased in 2015, but if it worked a week ago on my old computer, I assume there should be a way to get it to work again on my new computer.

Hi,

Please share in this thread if you applied a particular trick to fix this. It would help other users with the same challenge.

I don't think there are any answer here to mark as correct answer.

Hi Benjaminw,

As you are using the Acrobat on the new Windows machine, how exactly you are trying to convert the Word or Excel files to PDF?

Have you installed the MS office on your new machine?

Could you please provide the following details:

- Acrobat version.

- MS Office version

- OS on the Windows machine

We will be waiting for your response.

If the issue is resolved, please update the thread.

Regards,

Meenakshi
