I am not able to convert powerpoint 2016 document to pdf format.   It keep saying "Missing PDFmaker files. Do you want to run the installer in repair mode".  I clicked yes and it went through the process including rebooting my PC but it did not work.  Any suggestions?

I also use Office 2016 and actually all the newer office tools  have a feature to save a document as PDF. Means, you don't need Acrobat to convert, unless you require specific conversion features only Acrobat can give you.

Just go to "Save as..." and select PDF.

Yes it works.  I wonder why I did not think of that.   Thank you very much

What version of Acrobat do you have? What OS?

Acrobat 8 is very old, not supported by Adobe any longer, and not compatible with either Windows 10 or Office 2016.

It's time to get a new version.
