I have a paid subscription - Adobe Acrobat Pro with two licenses. When I try to open a PDF on one of my computers that I had the Pro on, but since logged out of Pro on that computer, I almost immediately get an error message and the PDF closes, and I have to log in to Pro in order to open it. Why is this? Anhy solution?

Hi Dotan33931313ei7r,

Thank you for reaching out.

In Acrobat Pro, you need to be logged in to open the PDFs. If you are not logged in, the application will not work. You can open the PDFs in Reader without logging in, as it is a free version.

If you are referring to something else, please provide more information so we can better understand your issue.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

The problem is that even if I am looged out of pro, openning with reader is not available: when I try to open a PDF, I immediately get prompted to log into pro, and if I do not, the PDF closes

Hi Dotan33931313ei7r ,

There is a single installer for the Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Reader desktop applications. If you install the Acrobat Reader and sign in using the Adobe ID with a subscription, the application upgrades to Acrobat Pro. However, if you sign out, it does not convert to Reader.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
