That can definitely be frustrating—Canadian immigration forms are often tricky since many require specific software versions to open and sometimes even crash while filling. It’s always best to keep Adobe Acrobat updated and check the official site for instructions. On a related note, if anyone is also exploring opportunities in the U.S., I came across a resource on US Immigration Services that provides helpful guidance on visas and work options. Might be useful for those comparing processes between Canada and the U.S.

The best way around it is to download the document and open it directly through Adobe Acrobat Pro on your computer instead of through the browser.

Hello, I have the same issue but worse: I cannot open the PDF file because I cannot download the latest version of Acrobat Reader, I get the message that my Mac needs to be 10.15 and mine is 10.14.6. What are we supposed to do, buy a new Mac just to open their form? I would be grateful for any tips/help about what I could do to open this document on my Mac, thank you in advance!

That typically happens when you try to open a AEM/LiveCycle Designer PDF in a browser. You will "Please wait..." forever.

Download the PDF to your computer. Open it directly from Acrobat and not through the browser.

Not if it's the type of pdf that I think it is.
