Hi @lennondy0101

Sorry for the troubled experience.
Would you please let us know what happens when you try opening a second PDF file when one is already opened?
Are you trying to perform any operation on the file that is currently opened while you are trying to open a second file?

Please ensure your copy of Adobe Acrobat is updated, to check for any pending updates, launch Acrobat > Help > Check For Updates.

Also, Help us with the Acrobat version installed on your machine: https://adobe.ly/3E4Ccb3

What happens when you try opening the file from within Acrobat, say, when you launch Acrobat > File > Open file?

Thank you for your patience.

When you open the first file, let's say you minimize it for 2 minutes. Then, when you open your second file, it will not open right away. The second file will open after 10 minutes or more. You need to close the Acrobat app for it to work normally again.

Hi @lennondy0101,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the delayed response.

We are live with a new update (2025.001.20577) which has multiple stability and performance enhancements.

Would you mind updating the app to the latest version and letting us know if the issue is fixed for you?

To do so, go to Menu > Help > Check for Updates.

Regards,
Souvik.
