Unable to open password protected PDF it open with the attached error message

    We are sorry for the trouble. As described, you are unable to open the PDF and getting the attached error message.

     

    ++ Adding to the discussion.

     

    It look like you are trying to open the PDF in Edge browser. Please try to download the PDF to your computer locally and then try to open it with Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC using the password and check.

     

    If you have got the PDF from a different user and forgotten the password to open it, please try to get in touch with the owner/author of the PDF file.

    Are you able to open it directly in Acrobat/Reader? Does the document require a password to open?
