Unable to print on Adobe Reader DC

When I open a .pdf document in Adobe Reader DC I am unable to print that document.

Whether I press the printer icon, I hit ctrl+p or 'file' -> 'print' nothing happens; I get not printer dialogue box open or anything?

I have tried 'repairing the install', I have fully removed the program and re-installed, but the issue remains.

Could you please let us know the dot version of Adobe Reader application and OS your are using.

Are you able to print from other applications without any issues?

Have you tried cleaner tool to remove the application? If not try once to remove it using cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  and re-start your system

Then re-install the latest version from here : Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Let us know how it goes.

Hi cliveg89374921,

It seems that the document is secured.

Please check the Document properties. Open document and navigate to File menu > Properties and select the security tab.

Check if printing is allowed or not allowed.

If it is not allowed, you need ask the PDF creator to remove security or save it in Reader extended form.

Meenakshi

Yes, printing is allowed in the properties -> Security tab.

This is for ALL .pdf documents, not just the odd one...
