Unable to re-install Acrobate XI Pro

Need to install Acrobat XI Pro on a replacement laptop and all goes well until I try using it

It keeps rejecting the serial number that I received

The serial number is recognized during the installation but when I want to use the application, it asks for the serial number and then rejects it
