Unable to reduce pdf file recently

Yesterday my Adobe Acrobat Pro DC was working fine. I restarted my computer this morning and now I can't reduce size any of my pdfs. Or even if I want to do a Save As, it opens a blank page and nothing happens. The version I'm using is 2021.001.20145. I looked up at the Creative Cloud and it states I'm up to date.  Is there anything else I can do. I really need to get this resolved quickly as the company I work for sends pdfs via email and they have

Try this:

Go to Edit (or the application menu if you're on a Mac) - Preferences - General and disable "Show online storage when saving files" and "Show online storage when opening files".
