unable to remove text box border in adobe after suggested option provided

I am busy preparing a fillable form - not all textboxes were added during the convertion. When i add a textbox, in some cases the textbox border must be transparent. But when is change it as per suggested option it remains black.

Odd. I just did the same thing with a file I’ve got here and I can’t duplicate the problem.

What version of Acrobat are you using? And what type — Standard? Pro? Premium? If you go back to edit the text field in Acrobat, what setting does the dialog box show for the fill of your errant text box(es)? If it doesn’t show transparent, can you edit it in the dialog boxes and see it changed/corrected?
