Question

Unable to set standard font for input fields

Hello, I'm filling out a PDF file & would like to set a new font for all of the text entered. The current default font on Acrobat is Heveltica.

To do this I've followed the below instructions:

- Navigated to Acrobat/ Preferences / Content Editing

- Under Font Options, selected Adobe Clean font for Fallback font for Editing and Default font for Add text

Exited app and reopend.

However when I filled the form, the font keeps reverting to Heveltica.

Looks like the only way to change the font of the input text is to do this manually for each field by going to Text Field Properties / Appearance / Text which is exhausting.

Setting standard font for input field seems like a basic function for a PDF editor app so I feel like I must be missing out something here?

Thanks

This selection is not related to the font used by your fields. That is a property of each field on its own.

To change it go to Prepare Form mode, right-click the field (or select multiple fields, then right-click one of them), select Properties and under the Appearance tab you'll be able to change the font used by that field:

You can select several text fields and change the properties.
