I just installed Acrobat to edit PDFs. I cant type a capital D in the form without it becoming a box. I checked to make sure the Use Single Key accelerators to access tools was unchecked. It is but I cant get a capital D to type anywhere. Its a fresh download without tewaks or add-ons. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks.

I had this same problem when using an Arial font. Typing a capital D became a text box instead.

I changed the font to Times New Roman, and the problem was solved.

Hope this helps.

Does you fill a form field?

I use the add text. I can type names in the fields but not a Capital D...it shows up as a small square or box and all the other letters are there. I have tried using caps lock but that still produces the box or square.

Looks like a font problem.
