Question

Unable to use Adobe on laptop

I have had an account with Adobe for several years. The subscription was paid recently. When I open the app, it seems to lock up. I am not able to select the login function or even move the app to a different monitor. I have to use the End Task fuction in the control panel to get Adobe to close. This started within the past week. I am using it on the same laptop, which had no problems for the past 6 months.

Any insight on how to resolve this issue?

@ShelbyL0825 I have a weird feeling a recent update to the Adobe application or even your operating system might have subtly shifted the minimum system requirements, or introduced a compatibility bug that your current laptop struggles with. Especially, if you changed from Windows 10 to Windows 11. https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/acrobat/system-requirements.html

You did say: The subscription was paid recently I probably would focus on driver updates, trying to reset preferences, and potentially using the Adobe Cleaner Tool for a fresh install are likely to yield the best results https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
