Unable to validate serial number acrobat pro 2017

I've searched and searched but can't find a resolution to me problem. I keep getting an error message to connect to internet and validate. Clearly i'm connected to the internet. I turned off microsoft firewall and still nothing. I have found a resolution to a MAC user but I don't know how to translate that to PC. Please point me in the right direction somebody? Thank you in advance.

BTW this is a volume license. 

I had the monthly subscription service but it has been deleted.

I then deleted everything with revo and deleted all instances revo could find.

Is that a third-party uninstaller? They are poison and can leave things completely messed up. Maybe (just maybe) the Acrobat Cleaner tool can sort things out for you. https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

You need to install the application from a special volume license installer, I believe. Do you work for a large organization? If so, contact the IT department and ask them to do it for you. They should keep count of the number of seats being used, at any rate.
