Question

Unexpected charges after free trial

Hi. At the start of 2023 I began a free trial of adobe acrobat pro so I could edit some documents. Recently I discovered that I have been charged $30 a month for 8 months. When I signed up for the free trial, I was not aware that I would be charged monthly after it expired.

I did not intend on using the software after this specific instance, and had I noticed the payments being made earlier, I would have cancelled the subscription immediately. Since I started my trial, I have had no use for the software at all and had no idea that I was being charged.

I have already contacted customer support, but all they could do is cancel my subscription. To this day I have been charged AUD $230 without my knowledge for a service that I did not want and did not use. I would hope that it is not too much to ask that I be refunded this amount.

Hi @JM1198

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

This is something better handled by our billing team, Please go through the help page https://adobe.ly/3NXtXj0 and check if that works.

I have still not received a refund. I find it funny that a few months later adobe is being sued for this scummy practice XD. I would appreciate not being pointed in circles from one team to another. I have attempted to contact Adobe by multiple means including phone calls to the billing team.

Can you process my refund or not?

Thanks
